What should I do about my Xbox 360?

I have an xbox 360 pro and this morning it was freezing constantly on the dashboard and in games. I phoned XB support and they told me to clear the cache, and I did with no prevail. They then soid I would have to pay �82 to get it fixed as the only warranty it has is RROD not anything else. What should I do?
