HSG Tests......What should I know about the test?

My husband and I have been trying to have a since last year. I have ended up pregnant 3 time but lost all 3 before I got to the 5 week mark. I went to a fertility specialist to see what's wrong. He's going to do an HSG test next week. I've never had one done so I don't know what to expect. Can someone let me know what will happen from beginning to end? I've also had people say that after the test I could easily become pregnant, is that true? If there is any information that anyone could provide to me I would greatly appreciate it.
