1999 Firebird 3.8. I have lean OBD II codes a rough idle and poor acceleration. I have changed spark plugs, wires, ignition coils, MAF sensor, front two O2 sensors (I did not change the back one because I thought that if the front two were bad I should only have a bank (2) lean condition but even after replacing the front two the codes came back, though the car felt like it was fixed for a couple of days...weird) and I also cleaned my throttle body ( I can't replace the TPS, you have to replace the whole throttle body, though I can hear the sensor click over when I shut off the car) My only other guess is fuel injectors. Fuel additive doesn't seem to help, is there a way for me to test my injectors? Do injectors seem likely? It all stems from a spark plug wire that shorted to chasis a long time ago, once I fixed the Mis-fire I ended up with this problem. Please help.

How do I get my carpet to look clean?

I know my carpet is clean, I vacuum atleast once daily, most of the time 2 or 3 times (I'm a little OCD) and I shampoo the carpet once a month. It's kind of a light blue color and for some reason it always appears dingy, never clean. I've tried to spray the stain remover before and let it sit 5 or 10 minutes before I shampoo, I've tried different carpet soaps, I always vacuum before and after I shampoo, I just don't understand how it never looks clean!! I'm not willing to replace the carpet because I rent the place, but the landlord doesn't see a reason to change the carpet, it's really not all that old, we've only lived here 2 years. Does anyone know any special (cheap) fix for a not so bright carpet? If I put a cap full of bleach in the shampoo tank, would it harm the carpet or my shampooer? My legs get purple?!!?

please help. my legs always randomly get purple and splotchy right after a shower usually and sometimes other times. its freaking me out. it goes away but i hate it! whats wrong with me? this kind of just started happening. i am 13 years old, and 90 pounds and like 5 ft 1 inches. HELP!?!! pleasee

I think that you should easily get into Fordham. You should also have a good chance at Villanova, but I know that it is very difficult to get into their business program. BC, Notre Dame, and Georgetown are all very good schools and think that you have competitive stats for each of them, but it is really hard to guess whether or not you will get in for sure. HSG Tests......What should I know about the test?

My husband and I have been trying to have a since last year. I have ended up pregnant 3 time but lost all 3 before I got to the 5 week mark. I went to a fertility specialist to see what's wrong. I started on warfarin Nov. '09 after my second round of DVT's and PE's. My starting theutic dosage was 10mg everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays which I took 15mg in order to keep my INR between 2.5-3.5. This summer, my INR has been tested and been high on 4 separate occasions ranging from 4.5 to 7.9. Today it was still high at 4.2 and we have already lowered the dose to 4days 10mg and 3days 5mg. Today, we lowered it to 4days 5mg and 3days 10mg to see where it drops to over the next 2wks. I have not seen a specialist about the reasoning for the dosage needing to be reduced so much sense the end of July. I only have seen the anti coag clinic and its pharmacist. I am curious what could be the causes of my body becoming more sensitive to warfarin. This is almost an 40% reduction in my dosage. Than just seems like a lot to me and should I be more worried and concerned?

I fish better in small little ponds, than in big lakes, is that common?

i dont know how to explain this. or if i should. it sounds obvious. theres a several ponds behind our house, altough i have fished those numerous times, i aint gettin nothin, despite our neighbors sayin they stocked with b it. theres also a sewer c by those ponds, but nothin. if you walk half a mile down, the sewer main is a huge pond( almost half the size of a football field. the first time i ever casted in that pond, i caught a three pound b in it. time went by the next time i visited, and when i came another day. i caught three gar. then the next i caught another. see, my problem is, lake tahoe, 4 miles down the road is on the b pro tour, meaning b anglers from all across the country come. anyways, when i go, i fish off the piers and i scavenge around tryin to find a quiet,secluded spot that i secretly sit down and hook in fish. the only problem is, i only get a few bites a day, nothing like that little pond i go more often to. i need to use a boat to idle around the weedflats, and lilypads, the hotspots for b. its ok to fish off the dock, but the few times i floated on the boat with my dad, i was gettin mad bites. more than that pond. but i caught fish in the pond, which i havent in the lake. do you see where im going? can you help me. i live in saint cloud fl and im thirty miles south of orlando. if you wanted a ten mile radius to fish, there are like 7 lakes to choose from. lake tahoe,east lake tahoe, alligator lake, kissimmee lake, b lake, etc... i want to fish in all the lakes in florida. i will try hard. but anyways, can you help me out? thank you!

Why are my malamutes elbows red?

I have a 3 year old Alaskan malamute. A year and a half ago, her elbows started to color red. She does like to sleep on a hard surface and that shows (the hair on the elbows is thinner), but to me that does not explain the coloring of the otherwise almost white hair of her front legs' elbows. My vet is clueless. She checked and there is no bacterial infection, so her idea was, that the coloring occurred because of the beta carotene in the food. After a year on a beta-carotene free diet, the size of the colored area has decreased, but only marginally. So, I cannot be sure that the dog’s diet had anything to do with this. It could also be that the colored area has decreased because I have been applying an ointment (basically glycerin) almost daily. My dog is otherwise healthy and full of energy and her elbows do not seem to cause any pain.Has anybody encountered something like that with their dog(s) and has a solution?

I need some advice, which should I choose in vegas?

Most of the chapels on Chapel Row are pretty cheesy. there are a few exceptions. I got married at the Monte Carlo hotel chapel. I would go for the hotel chapels over the strip ones just because they are nicer, and they provide everything for you. I planned my whole wedding over the phone!!!! The ceremony takes about 10 minutes or so. It can be as formal or informal as you like. Word to the wise. When you come out of the court house to get the license, DO NOT go with any of the limo drivers outside waiting. They try to sell you on their chapels for like $25!!!! You will get what you pay for!!!!! When we came out, there was a lilac colored limo complete with purple interior ready to take us to the Lavender Chapel down the street!!!! I don't even know if it's there anymore!!! It was 6 years ago.

Am i depressed or just normally like this?

Hey, ive had a issue for about two to three years where im always tired and low on energy, especially after meals. I got my blood sugar checked and they said im fine, and they suggested that it might be depression thats my problem (im 15). At first i laughed at this notion, as i consider myself to be extremely stable minded, until i had a night recently where i seriously believed that i should give up on all my hopes and give my life to helping others. I came to the conclusion that some people who are born with great gifts and a kind heart are made to solely help others and ignore themselves, and my mom pointed out that i sounded extremely elitist in saying that im blessed with much greater attributes than others. Ive had a history of being a little self centered, but i started to think that maybe i am hiding a giant ego that is the source of my issues. I have recently become a very deep thinking and clever person, and ive started to develop internal systems of logic that i treat like my code for life, such as i never will do this and some things are naturally wrong. I noted that many people who thought too logically turned into tyrants when they justified their actions, so i incorperated emotion into my logic. Ultimately, my ideas seemed remarkably sound for my age, but when i started thinking too deeply, i questioned why i had the desire to live. The issue is, i couldnt find an answer. This is when i realized that for quite some time, i might have had moderate depression. Ive been rejecting social interaction some what for a while, and even though im good with other people, ive started to hate almost everyone. My question to you is, do you think im depressed, or just a naturally deep thinker, and if you have anything else to say.

One just has to look at the abandon of the club culture in Japan to see how wild it can really get. The question doesn't make sense. In order to loose weight you would have to exercise. And eat healthy. And take it one day at a time. Then his third symptom was he got fin rot. His back fin seemed to disappear just over night. So I’ve been treating him for fin rot and bacterial infection. You probably would, but I think you want to apply for SSDI. It's social security disability income. I have Aspergers disorder and get it because it is 100x harder for me to find a job, get along with people, be social, etc. They also help with school and job searches! People probably get mad this even exists, but people with mental disorders need just as much help, if not more, than everyone else who can't find jobs and are broke because it is that much harder to find and KEEP a job. If it wasn't for getting this money and help, I'd be on the streets! If you really have that bad of an anxiety disorder and have that much trouble in social settings, you could possibly qualify. But you will need to have a diagnosis from a professional. Good luck!

I am about to drown myself in $90,000 worth of student loans to complete my bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University. IS IT WORTH IT is my question??? am I making the worst decision of my life? My rationalization for this is that I will be able to pay off this loan with $1500 worth of monthly payments for 5 years, this should not be a problem if I get a job with average starting salary for engineering majors; am I right in thinking this? I am a 16 year old male and I was just at my eye doctor. I've been wearing gles that are -3.25 (i am nearsighted), for about 8 months. I went for an eye check and my eye pressure is 23. The doctor said that it was high, and that the normal amount is lower than 21. I took the glaucoma test and the doctor said that i have no damaged nerves, and that i ped the test with no glaucoma. I am wondering what i can do to lower my eye pressure, and reduce my chance of glaucoma.
