The sookie stackhouse series?

I would like to know more about Eric.. he's a very intriguing character. like where's he from, why he likes sookie, i don't care about spoilers i jus read the second bok so i know there's more but i'm getting pissed not knowing more about him.... and why does bill not like the bellefleurs??
