What is wrong with my BitTorrent?

Sounds like the update has not been recognised by your windows firewall or other firewall contained within antivirus software. You should go into your windows firewall and add bittorrent again as an exception. Try turning off the firewall first to see if it then works. If so, there's your answer. Then turn it on again and add as exception.
