Why is my Internet so SLOW!!! 10 POINTS!!!!?

it could be ur isp's modem, i have comcast and a few months ago it was going slow and messing up so i took it to comcast and got a new modem (mine was broke) so id take it to ur isp and get a new one, also to make sure its not the router plug ur comp directly into the modem and see if theres a diff. if not then its the modem
